Beyond Norm Finance ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

• Contact details (name, email, phone) of the person submitting a referral and the person being referred.
• Business details (company name, role, website) for referral-partner enquiries.
• Information you provide in the optional message field.
• For finance applications: identification, financial position, employment and any other information required to assess and arrange a loan.

How we use it

• To contact the referred person about their finance enquiry.
• To administer the Refer-a-Friend Program, including paying rewards.
• To provide finance broking services and meet our legal obligations (including AML/CTF, NCCP and responsible lending requirements).
• To respond to enquiries from prospective referral partners.

Consent for marketing contact

By submitting a referral, you confirm the referred person has consented to being contacted by phone, SMS and email by Norm Roberts of Beyond Norm Finance. They may withdraw consent at any time by emailing norm@beyondnorm.com.au or replying STOP to any SMS. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).

Disclosure

We may share personal information with lenders, aggregators, mortgage insurers, valuers, government bodies and our service providers (including secure cloud-hosting and SMS providers) strictly for the purposes set out above. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and security

Information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access restricted to authorised personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing norm@beyondnorm.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
